Today my friends arrived. We did a big shop in the morning to stock up on food and booze for the next few days and then headed back to the house awaiting their arrival.
The next few days were full of pool games, tunes, amazing food, beer pong and multiple other drinking games.
An early wake up call was had on Christmas day for a group workout. Tim is a Crossfit enthusiast and PT and as most of us are fitness freaks we thought what better way to start the day than to do early morning WOD.
In the theme of Christmas we did:
5 rounds for time:
- 25m dumbell loaded carry
- 12 burpies
- 20 dumbell ground to overheads
- 15 goblet squats
I was very nearly sick after too many coffee tequila shots on Christmas Eve (I lost 7 games of Spoons. Kerri had to start drinking shots for me at one point. Sisterly love right there).
After the horrendous start to the day, we ate like kings, with a feast of pulled pork, snapper, prawns, roast spuds, turkey, pigs in blankets and more.
The best orphan Christmas we could have hoped for.
