Today we headed to Lake Pend Oreille to hire some Kayaks. Matt and Dad in one. Jo and I in the other. Now.. I was a bit worried that Jo and I would be going around in circles like we were caught in some kind of whirlpool, but I was pleasantly surprised by her paddle power. Although I was smacked over the head a few times, we must have kayaked over 4 miles in under 2 hours (Matt and Dad were complaining after 20 mins.). Anyhow, it was a lot of fun, no one fell in (unfortunately, I was secretly hoping Matt and Dad would tip over!).
After lunch, we headed up Schweitzer mountain to take some pictures. I think the best part for me was the Giant Jenga and kids playground.
Ended the evening back in MickDuff’s.
