Day 4: City Cycle Ride

Today Jules and I hired Bikes and cycled around the city on the cycle path along the Yarra River. In 30c heat we under estimated how hard this might be – I think Jules sweat out about 2 gallons of liquid.

We stopped half way for a much needed coffee break. After 15km of cycling in 30c heat it was much needed.

When we got back to base we explored some the Melbourne’s laneways – the city has hundreds of narrow passageways that have become home to an entire movement of fabulous little cafes, creative restaurants, uber-cool bars and chic boutiques.

We stopped and had some food on Degraves Street, I opted for the healthier option and Jules went for the largest thing on the menu… standard.

Ozzy observations:

Observation of the day: Jules sweats A LOT! Toilet roll runs out fast.

Today’s finds: A local wine shop 5mins down the road. I think i will become a regular. Now I just need a butcher…. Great coffee plus wine = winning.

Animal watch: Nothing to report. Winning!
