So Jules and I finally purchased a Swag, which is like a super robust tent. This weekend, we took it on its first outing, down the Great Ocean Road. We drove the scenic way, via Forrest, stopping for a beer at the brewery and a quick bite to eat.
We set up camp at Wye River, grabbed a bottle of Vino and headed to the beach to walk the sunset.
The next day, we stretched the legs on a short walk to Lorne pier, where you can often see super large sting rays. Unfortunately we didn’t see any, but we did see a Koala Bear.
After our short walk, we headed to our favourite beach (a hidden gem off the beaten track which only the locals really know about) and did some exploring in the rock pools.
