Byron Bay

So Jules and I arrived in Byron Bay for our five day mini break over the Easter Holidays. As a world renowned seaside destination for its long balmy days, endless beaches and waterfalls, reliable surf breaks, healthy organic food and an impressive lineup of world-class events- I was quite excited about our mini break.

We arrived at our accommodation about 1ish and headed into town to explore.

We stayed at a Guest House called Byron Palms which was about a 10 minute walk from town. We had a basic room and a private bathroom, with use of the communal garden and deck areas, shared lounge and kitchen areas.

We headed for lunch a cafe by the beach called Fresh, which as the name suggests uses superfoods, free-range, organic and local produce where possible.

After lunch, we headed up to the lighthouse to take some pictures.

Post walk – we booked up activities for the week – surfing and kayaking are on the list for the next few days!!
