Golf update

So its been a while since I have given an update on the golfing side of things, so I thought I would write a short post about all the cool courses I have been playing at. So for those of you who do not know, Melbourne is full is world class golf courses and I have been lucky enough to start to play on some of them (yes my golf isn’t to shabby these days).

Moonah Links
The Moonah Links Golf Club is a golf club in Rye, Victoria, Australia It has hosted the Australian Open twice. Its ranked 29 in Australia and 12th in Melbourne. We played on The Legends course, which provides a trip through the game’s most revered players, with each hole named after a titan of the sport – many of whom are Australian. Its a beautiful course with wide, sweeping fairways, stunning greens and of course the beautiful backdrop of the Mornington Peninsula.

Eagle Ridge
The Moonah Links Golf Club is a golf club in Rye, Victoria, Australia It has hosted the Australian Open twice. Ranked 59th in Melbourne. Known for its heavily featured layout, the course boasts waterfalls, ornamental lakes, cart paths, reticulated fairways, greens and well manicured tees. Its one of my favorites.

Yarra Bend
Now this course isn’t ranked in Melbourne’s best, but it was a great course to play at. Set in the heart of the beautiful Yarra Bend Park, with a mix of wide and narrow fairways surrounded by huge gum trees.

My golf has improved so much, the other day I putted my shot with my eyes closed….. PGA here I come.
