So this weekend was the annual Melbourne Food and Wine Festival event. We missed it last year, we must have been doing something else pretty epic, because this event is always a winner.
You simply pay $15 for a tasting cup and get to sample free wine all afternoon from some of Victoria’s finest wineries. And if you do want to have a glass, its like $5 vs the $15 standard you find in most bars.
There are a shed tonne of food trucks, we went for the pizza option, and the music is always pretty good to. We spent most the time listening to an American soul/jazz band who sounded like they came straight from New Orleans.
Whats not to love.
